*Parliament / Congress requires a Majority / Quorum to make effects, Royals just make stupid comments.

*Armies of Armies has never been appointed, at which time it likely would be a Sovereign Commander. Army of Armies was a five star general and only two
have ever been appointed, General George Washington and General Eisenhower. The proper analog is a field marshal that does not have to ask congress
or parliament about military matters until the enemy has withdrawn from the field. Audie Murphy was knighted by the French and by the Knights of Columbus.
George Washington held arms in his name prior to breaking ties with his liege because his oath required that George's liege be there for him and that liege
was not. It is one of the reasons that the office of the president is always a civilian oversight so that they can represent every citizen of the nation in politics.

A device is laurel or other symbol added to the insignia to denote standing.

The POTUS has uniformed troops saluted in his or her direction when they wear a lapel pin with the US Flag on their lapels if they have no prior military rank.
They do not return the salute as it is for the US Flag not the office of the president. It is a flag law thing. This is why civilian holders of the POTUS office do
not hold military rank but are supposed to be treated with the respect that running the day to day tasks of the country entail. It is one of the actual verse
honorary ranks that confuse even military troops. When I trying to work up through the ranks and the US Military Forces figured was the best way to deal
with my honorary rank they came up with you salute first based on actual rank, brevetted rank, time in grade, honorary rank.

Rank means level of leadership, while grade means deference and military curtsey.
Only the ranking officer can refer to a Lieutenant Officer as a Lieutenant instead of their rank.
Ie Captain of large ship referring to Lieutenant Captain as Lieutenant instead of Captain.
Rank is Commander or General and grade is Commander or LT Com; or General and Lt Gen.

Admirals and generals both have to carry the weight of their personel on their shoulders but the difference between the two is that a General is assumed to
command from the rear free of distractions so they can work effiencently while admirals work on craft where they are responsible for the craft as well.
Admirals are generals that have commanded a ship, tank, airframe, aeroframe, or aerospace craft.

To make the rank of L07G1 personnel have to have served in at least one leadership track and one support track position. This allows for leadership tracked personnel
to know where the bullets come from and for support tracked personnel to understand the horrors of war.

All use rank on shoulder boards end caps and flat top, as well as flag ensign on left collar at the honor point (open and closed), rank insignia on left collar point, and
MOS on right collar point, Military Braid for General on left shoulder loop, and Knight on left outermost loop, congress generals left outer most loop.

General Rank wears three color country code military braid, Knight Order/Ordis/Ordo 2/4 color.

Military Operational Specialty can change and you can hold more than one so they are pinned as temporary insignia.

Fleet Captain is reserved for ship captain in charge of a fleet.
symbolized by a platinum anchor or sail with a device on one side and actual rank on the other collar side.

Captain is reserved for ship captain of any kind.
symbolized by a platinum anchor or sail on one side and actual rank on the other collar side.

Senior Lieutenant is referred to as a captain but a commander of a group of smaller ships, tanks, air-frames, aeroframes, or aerospace craft.
symbolized by a gold anchor or sail with a device on one side and actual rank on the other collar side.

Lieutenant Captain is referred to as a captain but a commander of a smaller ship, tank, air-frame, aeroframe, or aerospace craft.
symbolized by a gold anchor or sail on one side and actual rank on the other collar side.

The rank is the actual rank while the position of captain is an MOS. A Cadet in school commands a boat or trainer craft at some point thus captains hold O0 to O6 rank.

Those who go through the warfare college start at the rank set by their track.
Law, Medicine, Meteorology, Theology Majors all start as Lieutenant Commanders.^
Everyone has to make it through leadership school as am enlisted personal, to enroll in the academies or the warfare college.
The Academies are for people with aptitude but no prior experience. The Warfare College is for rounding out of prior experience or training.

Specialty and Officer Selection school.

So run in parallel to speciality school is officer selection much like ROTC, you volunteer for leadership. Each training squardron would have 02TI - Warrant
Training Instructor to run the day to day running of the unit. He or she can assign suites to personnel assigned to their unit. One suite to a person, a suite
consists of a bedroom and bathroom while at specialty school so that you clean yourself and sleep there but complete the rest of your training and activities
around the gate house with the rest of the squadron. All entry and exit by visitors is through the main gate archway. To one side is the armory and to the
the change of quarters office. The other doors and exits are up to the base commander's budget. The armory wall facing the inside of the arch way has a
tempered glass window that allows for arms to be turned over to the unit armorer. Unserviceable arms require cleaning or laps around the gate house. The
Change of Quarters desk sits between the two doors but can be stored out of the way at need. Once past the CQ desk is the inner doors of the archway.
Beyond the Archway is the quad. The quad has a clear glass and resin roof. This way the quad is bounded by buildings and roof so that there is no excuse
it is not clean and orderly. The quad's purpose is a safe and clean place to train, and moral improving activities. Personnel are not required to wear uniforms
once past the inner door but are expected to act with military curtsey and politeness. Each individual is responsible for what happens in their quarters. Thus
they can bar entry to anyone in particular but only on a case by case basis; but can not refuse to have them inspected. Some individuals may make a game
of barring everyone wanting to inspect their  quarters but it becomes a leadership challenge to figure out how to inspect them. Each gate house has a galley
small arm training room that are open to visitors that have been authorized and signed in via the change of quarters. Due to different cultures having to work
together at work and in space where possible allowing people chose who they spend their off time with encourages diversity. Allowing people to decorate
a hallway with one culture and the next one with decorations from where those people come from, widens people understanding of culture. A person walking
down a hallway and seeing women and men with kafiya's on their face is more likely to ask what it is if they see those people at work without them on.
a person with a Celtic cross painted on a wall because everyone else is Irish in the hallway might have the other people in the unit ask them about st paddy's
day instead of wearing green for the day. It creates potential cliques and encourages potential leadership candidates to try and find ways to keep the culture
that might inspire a different perspective but prevent the clique that impedes efficiency in completing missions. The food would be served in the galley hall
but still be prepared by civilians. This prevents the galley from being used as punishment of any kind which can interfere with training. With the arms in the
armory and the food stored in the galley the likely hood of suites being cultured is far less likely to cause vermin or insects to be present. Those snack
machines in the galley for those who are hungry for what ever reason could contain healthy snacks that would have to be eaten in the galley.

Personnel volunteering for leadership track in specialty school are sent to military arms drill on weekends, until a 04TI - Sargent Major Technical Instructor
finds their skill at teaching people how to march is suffice for their first leadership braid. They are issued a green on green leadership military braid. From that
point on in specialty school they are addressed as Sir or Ma'am or Sargent or Sergeant or Sarge. This reinforces the choice of the harder leadership path
were you might have ten things that all have to be done and you can only physically do four of them. After two weeks of working for the Junior Warrant you
can be sent back to be tested by the 04TI - Sargent Major Technical Instructor in military standards and protocol. If found to be of a quality that represents
the leadership track level of cadet fresh out of the academies, then they are awarded their arum on arum. They are expected to work for the Junior Warrant
running the unit when not at class or on down time. Down time is required sleep time, religious holidays, and one day a week for eight hours. This prevents
burn out. At class they are cadets and expected to put rank aside if it interferes with learning their specialty. If the unit has enough personnel that volunteer
for green rope and are promoted to yellow rope, the yellow ropes can hold an open selection course in the quad on weekends. This shows off what is
expected of officers and teaches manual at arms. Ordained priests and Ordained Knights of recognized Ordis, and Orders, and Ordos, remembering that
like the process of going from a country to a nation it take two hundred years of following a documented set of rules. So priests get awarded their military
braid from the chaplain service after demonstrating the yellow rope level to both a chaplain and 04TI - Sargent Major Technical Instructor. Knights get awarded
their braid after demonstrating the red rope level of competence to both a chaplain and 04TI - Sargent Major Technical Instructor. They still have to graduate
both their specialty school and officer selection school to stay in the military.

Officer Selection school
Any superior or supervisor can recommend personnel for officer selection school. In specialty school you can volunteer. If you graduate specialty school with
a green or yellow braid you are automatically sent to officer selection school afterwards. At Officer selection school you live in a unit gate house much like
at specialty school. Only instead of people all there to learn about how to turn a spanner or read a wiring schematic, they are there to learn how to write
ethical and clear orders. They are there to learn how to incentivize people to do what you need them to do not what some else suggests they do. They are
there to learn how to lead by example. Some people may show up and comprehend this they way they comprehend how to breathe but they may also have
no idea how to teach it to others. Knights are good example. They are already preselected for living what they believe is the only ethical way to live. So their
Instructors need to make sure that they can utilize people that need to be incentivized. Most self selecting for duty tend to be of strong opinion that there is
a correct way to live and might eliminate possible solutions because their faith precludes those options. A good way to command is to make sure not to send
someone to do something you would not, the conviction in your voice is not going to be there. A knight might say send anyone of expecting all of them to
be able to take the hill equally, because of equal training, while a good officer, knows that when faced with being hurt some personnel might end take a detour
while lives are lost if it is not personal to them. If their buddy is up the hill or in the path of attack they might do as well as the guy or gal who has decided
long ago that the best way to stay alive is to attack the enemy when the ammo is full and the moral is strong. So you take the guy who might not take the
hill and you get him to build fortification to defend the position he is already at and send the guy who you think can take the hill and then you send troops
a bit later who have seen the fortification that they know they can fall back to, to re-enforce the guy who is make progress because to him the only safe
   way is forward.

Week one, Day one you show up and are assigned a suite of bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen and study. Two more rooms than you had at specialty school.
This shows even those who only have the comprehension to be sergeants that even senior leadership really does not need seven bedroom that are four times
as large just to sleep but might need the space to lay our strageo boards and plan out campaigns. Leadership often forget to eat when it convenient and
making them eat cold food from the galley if they do not show up at meal time or prepare something from it in their suite, creates better habits than
spending what money they have on hand to eat take out due to bad planning not careful budgeting. Often times leadership find themselves sketching out
on drafting boards notes and sketches that might impact a mission and keep them in their quarters to prevent leaks. Breaking this habit is very hard
but by building mock leadership planning rooms and grading those that keep the planning to the planning rooms higher grades.

The goal of Officer Selection school is to figure out who understands what it is to lead and give them only as much responsibility as they can manage.

A good example is when I was working for the 25th we have one major on the floor, myself, and three shifts and several AOR with different command
chains. The problem was solved by sending my commander to OTS to rank up to brigadier general and rank, myself the only major up to colonel, so
that the table of command could justify nine majors on the floor. Now as a leadership problem another solution would have been to brevet up eight other
officers to major. The best long term solution in my opinion would be thus

Start by separating how many of what rank from operational requirements. Say you need three shifts for twenty four hour, seven
day a week three hundred sixty five day a year operation, you want a command level person to turn to if it is two am or lunch time.

So this applies to Air Traffic Controllers as well as weather forecasters.

So operationally you need nine people in charge. Three for each shift allowing for people to get six and to allow healthy rotation off grave yard shifts
before people get sick. So you figure out that from the table above the Senior Warrant, which includes Junior Commanders should be sufficient for
the task of taking responsibility for making a life or death call. Then they need an executive officer and a commander. Thus you have from and
operational stand point

Adjutant Commander                                          1
Lieutenant Commander / Sargent Major                1
Senior Warrant                                                   9

Or eleven personnel and no one that is actually doing any work, they are simply there to make the call that might get a lower ranked individual
in trouble if they try to.

So operationally from there you use the concept of how many for each aor. For an ATC you want to have several people watching for new objects
on the scopes and two people working on scopes wiring to different equipment for each in bound object. That is a variable, until you remember
that there is only so much space for them to circle in and so many run ways. When you add in wet runways in ports you can have them wait
out of the air but once they are docked they are really handed over to the base security at that point. So again limited about of space. Operatationally
planning for say a hundred aircraft because of the Chicago O'Hare mess when during Christmas several planes fell out of the air due to crashes on
the tarmac and in air due to fuel shortages. So that sets about one hundred and twenty personnel watching scopes. Their school is long so most
would end ranking as sergeants so planning for a quarter of the troops to be able to do their job without the formal training, sets forty technical sergeants.

Adjutant Commander                                          1
Lieutenant Commander / Sargent Major                1
Senior Warrant                                                   9

Bachelor Officer                                                40
TSE6 -  Technical Sargent                                 40

Now when they turn to someone for help they are not going to want some one with their understanding they are going to want someone that actually
understands what they don't understand. So they are going to turn to the Bachelor Officer with the formal training not another Sargent. That means a
one to one ratio of Bachelor Officers to Technical Sergeants.

Adjutant Commander                                          1
Lieutenant Commander / Sargent Major                1
Senior Warrant                                                   9

Bachelor Officer                                                40
TSE6 -  Technical Sargent                                 40

Next what is a flight what is a squadron?

The regiment commanders are a group commander but why are they needed? With weather and atc controllers having the same issue having the report to
someone dealing with similar problems helps. So one regiment commander would handle every squadron working three shifts all year around, and another
would deal with personal that don't have hours requirements. So the regiment commander that has to deal with troops waking up a supply commander in
the middle of night is used to dealing with different problems than the regiment commander who has to deal with grave yard personal sleeping through work
because they are in sleep deprivation and don't know it. So we have the sergeants and the formally trained officers but we don't have anyone between the
the three leadership personnel and forty newly minted officers asking for help. Now the point of the formal training is that personnel can do more than follow
orders so you don't need forty Senior Warrants for every Bachelor Officer. Now how to get from forty down to nine. So there is one rank in between the Senior
Warrant and Bachelor Officer, that is Junior Warrant. You could say that having one for every Senior Warrant as if they were junior xos. But then most officers
would skip them and talk to the Senior Warrant. Then you remember that you have one hundred twenty eyes on radar scopes you need and you only have eighty
officers so far. So you put down forty Junior Warrants, and then you compare the equipment you actually have and scale down the numbers to match the actual
equipment and use the personal that can be found to do the job and flag all the seats with ATC gs rating for their civilian conter parts, then add half as many
Sargent seats as you have Warrant Seats. If the officer in the officer seat can not handle both helping others and watching their scope you down grade them to
TSE6 -  Technical Sargent and their pay stay the same until you can fill their officer seat with an officer, at which point you send them back to officer selection
school.

L5        Adjutant Commander                                     1
L4        Lieutenant Commander / Sargent Major           1
L3        Senior Warrant                                              9
L2        Junior Warrant                                             40
L1        Bachelor Officer                                           40
TSE6    Technical Sargent                                       40

To fill out the rest of the squadron you need a first sergeant to directly report to the Adjutant, now this seems at odds with if you want to run a shop you
need to be an officer. His or her job is simply to make sure when the galley food is bad an none of the officers notice because they are eating in their
kitchen instead of the galley, he or she can go to the Adjutant and ask if they have eaten in the galley lately? So say you spin up a new career field
and you don't have any sergeants yet in it? You fill the Sargent Seats with Corporals and hope they test into the Sargent Rank quickly. You pay them
at the Technical Sargent rate plus the same Government Service rating their civilian counter parts get paid. So you fill in forty Sergeants Seats, instead
of forty Technical Sergeants seats, set at the Sargent pay rate. Then you fill forty bachelor seats and eighty Warrant seats, stopping short of having
too many people for the equipment. So you have three shifts of 120 people resulting in 360 people. So filling thousands of military air fields might mean
you get 100 personal separated into thirty people a shift with two officers for every sergeant. The ratio is important not how people you actually get if
they don't burn out from over work. So you break it down in to shifts.

Head Quarters Floor
L5        Adjutant Commander                                     1
L4        Lieutenant Commander / Sargent Major           1

Early morning shift          4am to 8am lunch to 10 am then 10am to 2pm

L2        Junior Warrant  Seat                                    40
L1        Bachelor          Seat                                    40
T3        Sargent           Seat                                    40

Which gives over lapping coverage with someone wide away at all hours of the day but would have to be fine tuned to how
many personal in each groups of coverage. Never forget you only have any many troops as you actually have.

A shift works Phase A for four months then shifts to Phase B for four months. Then the shift rotates one phase out for four months.
So shift 1 works 4am to 2pm from jan to april,
then works 8am to 6pm from may to aug,
then works 2pm to midnight from sept to dec,
then works 6pm to 4am from jan to april,
then works 2am to noon from may to aug,
then works 6am to 4pm from sept to dec,
at which point they are working their inital
4am to 2pm from jan to april,

So we have one hundred twenty four sergeants and corporals, two hundred forty junior and bachelor officers, eleven people in head quarters floor.

So ten to sixteen to file, four to six columns to flight, four to six flights to squadron.

Gives one flight per shift of four columns of ten troops. That means that the other flight can be filled in with armorers, military admin and any other
personnel that directly support the squadron. Instead of walking all over base you simply walk to the archway and ask what would be the change
of quarters people what you need. One window would have gun racks visible so it should be easy to figure out left or right. The commander would
be on the top floor of the gate house on one of four corners. His or her executive officer some where up there and the other diagonal left empty
for change of command transitions. All the actually work would still be done at the in the case of the Air Traffic Controllers at the tower.

With officer selection school teaching these concepts and figuring out who is sorta understanding it and who comprehends them, there is less sigma
on personal that bounce back and forth between only being able to understand what to do with orders in hand that need more training and the bulk
of the personal the junior officers.

Next leadership problem they have comprehend

Active Duty
8760 * 35 per hour = 306,600 vs 70K + military pay for non opm duties of 20K
90,000 / 8760 = 10.2739726027
Civilian Counterpart
2000 * 35 per hour = 70,000 vs 70K
70,000 / 2,000 = 35 per hour

So for the duties that are equivilant they get paid based on what ever the Office of Personnel Management pays their civilian counter parts during
the course of normal eight hour day, with a break of two hours for lunch using the attorney rule of no more than ten hours with forty five minutes to
two hours with two fifteen minute breaks during each of the four hour blocks. So the military pay covers the things like being shot at, maintaining
their readiness to be able to march or hike a mile or more, being able to target a threat and neutralize it at visible difference and things that the
Office of Personnel Management does not cover.

So next leadership exercise.

So you have a senior warrant who has nineteen bars and none of his superior officers want to promote him. At the twenty anniversary he is retired
no options otherwise at that point. But he is good officer and knows his job.

A much higher up can waste time tracking the promotion opportunities or a better option is to every time you want to cross train into a different specialty
you only have to go to change of quarters and file the paperwork them, and when the new personnel shows up to fill the seat you ship out to specialty
school. Now that senior warrant can not self select for promotion but he could file for change of primary specialty. It would require dropping back down
to corporal to go through specialty school, but it also opens up the self selection opportunity in specialty school. It carries the risk of coming out of
officer selection school a Sargent instead of Senior Warrant Officer but if they were capable but too useful their commanders should have sent them through
officer selection school by warrant nine anyway. With officer selection school being how you promote from T2 all the way through L7, you have system
than can address personal conflicts and allows for sending personal back to specialty school for more training and then allowing an office of personal
management to assign personnel to where they are need most by the senior leadership. So young bachelor officer right out of the academies goes through
officer selection school and annoys everyone and ends up a Sargent can spend the length of their technical school cooling their heels as their replacement
is trained for the sergeant's seat, and then pick one of the high demand schools, and transfer out and by that time might have learned why they annoyed
everyone so when they self select again they might get junior warrant or higher, having the training before that but not the understanding about people.

Next leadership exercise.

So the admirals and generals entering into basic are always willing to play along as recruits, and when they go from green to blue, they have to go through
officer selection school, what do you do with the ones that don't have what it takes, once a general always a general but if they can not work at the level
expected by officer selection school, what do you do with them? With knights they simply don't wear their braid until promoted to rank recognized as a
commander level rank. If you retire them instead of passing them what does that mean for other ranks failing the officer selection school. If you fail out
you should not be still the rank you held that can not live up to the ethics of?

The only think I can think of is if they can work to the level of Lieutenant Commander and have the ethics of general officer, then maybe it is simply that
they get sent through operations training like knights are expected to go through to learn the current military methods and means. Then send them back
through officer selection school.

Next leadership exercise.

So the nine sided unbroken equal distal star is something of myth. All it is a five sided star with two atomic orbits around it, tightened up. So this
is then a star to work towards so that the clock face is used to create it, with rockets ascending from all sides. This means that subconsciously
people are thinking about their stars and the paths it takes to create on so that they remember that ships have to have clear flight paths, especially
when they can not see what they might run into.

As to using two obits over the star or simply a single unbroken path to create the shape as space is very complex, it leads to a new star. Flag rank
personnel need to feel equal to the task and one person having an anchor, one a rocket ship, and another a star representing leadership tends to
level people wondering which is best. Moving the anchors and steering wheels to the specialty and leaving only the stars that all of our ground, sea, air
and space navigation started from, is a single unifying symbol. So with the shoulderboards as a unifing expressoion of rank it allows more flexiblity
in the uniforms funtion and form.
Next leadership exercise.

So space command has currently a bright royal blue or azure flight suit that matches the blue NASA color with a bright orange lining. They have several
bomber jackets, as those are not set as space or atmospheric rating. These are from the T38 trainer craft and the F104 training. This is fine in an F104
rocket and walking around but in hard vacuum it is still only fabric. The next generation of flight suit likely needs to be skin tight Mylar, with ways to bring
medical air into the suit to breathe, hold water and food potentially, and have a hard pressure bottle for urine. This results in a hard suit or bulkier flight
suit. You can throw a bomber jacket over that but it is going to be likely movement impairing. So what does the military have that looks good and does
not look like a moo moo. Fishermen´s shorts, calvery britches, and dusters or captain´s coats.

So a skin tight flight suit requires pants when in a mess dress or formal dress. So where does the rest of the uniform come from. Is the should board on
the uniform enough? Is a unit heraldry painted on an eva suit a uniform? It is really more of hazmat suit for special duty.

So the space suit is likely going to go through iterations that happen faster than the uniform process. So what does it take to unify a group of personnel
the bomber jacket is issued to air crews at government expense while the pilots pay for theirs. So the bomber jacket which works as part of flight uniform
is really a way to say someone is atmospheric rated air crew. Space Command is about controlling everything above that. So instead of modifying the
air crew jacket what can be used instead. The paratrooper duster which was created like the B1 Shearling Bomber jacket for the B17 gunner positions
and turned out to work better for pilots bridged the gap between pilots and tail gunners. So what does it take to be a paratrooper? What does it take to
be Airborne? A paratrooper is military personnel that is jump qualified to be able to say when they can pull their own ripcord so that when they hit the
ground they can walk away from a landing. Airborne requires ability above that.

So a paratrooper duster requires everyone to be able to make a free fall jump and survive it using common sense. That means they have to pull the
ripcord far enough from the ground not to break their legs as they have to be able to walk away from the jump. This then continues the trend of
every one on active duty eventually has to have and use common sense. Requiring high altitude low opening for all members would likely end up
killing a bunch of service members. The point of a halo jump being avoiding detection and anti air craft fire suggests that should be saved for
delta force graduates and personnel that have to bail out a really high altitudes where opening the chute too soon might tear it into pieces.
Setting the bar of being able to survive a jump by a person's own common sense, every pilot and air crew can respect that. Air crew wings
replace jump wings not matter how well qualified so every air crew has to know how to jump out of ship or plane so that should not cause a conflict.

So we have a space suit that is set by NASA and federal regulation with potentially an armored version that can be removed piece meal in an emergency,
and a paratrooper duster. My paratrooper duster from 1998 is still serviceable almost twenty years later though the regulation snaps need to be replaced
in some places due to rust. So replacing the hand stitched in snaps with stainless steel or buttons coated in something less likely to rust is a likely.

So we have then a bunch of guys and gals standing around in a military duster with a moral shirt and what blue jeans? The flight suit is restricted to
air crew and space crew as a cost issue. If the base commander has to buy every Sergeant in the base supply a flight suit because it is more comfortable
than the basic uniform, then the basic uniform is not functioning correctly. Nomex is used to temperature control in cold or hot environments. So the
best thing to do is look at the jobs that are not crew rated and see what challenges they are facing that might be better served by something aimed
at the mission they are trying to complete. So they are in climate controlled rooms to protect the equipment that might be over heating due to too
many bodies. They need to stand and move around and sit for long hours. Gloves come to mind that breathe so that the hands not softened. Then
I think how the flight surgeons wear flight suits and the picture becomes clear. They wear them because they might have to jump on a plane and
go save someone's life. They shed blood and fluids due to their construction.

So we look at the guys sweating in cheap badly fitting polyester shirts worn over white cotton v neck shirts, and usually badly fitting polyester
trousers. The shirts can not be taken off because the vee neck is considered underware. Maintainers takes off the battle dress uniform blouse
because it interferes with repairing the air craft and can catch on exposed metal. So we have one group that wears a cotton moral tee shirt,
cotton briefs/boxer-briefs, and a nomex flight suit worn zipped down to the waist. What that means is we need a uniform that can be worn
under the duster with no impact, helps shed sweat and is ventilated.

So a soccer jersey, over a cotton moral shirt, should work. Make it white and orange with the personnel's name and unit heraldry on the back,
as ground crew.  The pants well the battle dress uniform pants are nomex. They don't have the pressure cuffs to prevent toes and fingers from
blowing off due to blood rushing to the extremities so they are cheaper and last longer. So the trousers what purpose do they serve?
They present a military image.

So a cammo pattern presents a military image but only some patterns are protected and the personnel are not trying to hide in the trees. So the ground
crew that is safety rated uses a bright fire engine red color or a hazmat Fluorescent Lime green color for hazmat trained personnel. Cytogenetic fluids,
methane and electricity? Space rated engineers are going to have to be flight engineers and pass class two space flight physical. That makes them
aerospace crew, and thus nomex overalls to protect them from the environment they working in and flight suits since they represent the space suits
in training. So the supply officers have to order clothing and for enlisted it comes out of the budget. So what is the cut of the jib, and the drape of the
cloth in a trouser? They are cut to match the formal clothing so that a flight surgeon can pull on trousers wear them to military function, and pull them
off if they need to jump on plane and save someone's life in flight or they happened to be the closest doctor by air. So for ground personnel that have
completed only a parachute jump where their own lives where in their hands and they walked away, you issue six pairs of trousers cut more like battle
dress uniform pants, with thigh pockets for carrying papers and pens safely and if they go through all six and are still working people notice and make
sure at some point they have time at least to do their laundry. So the white on white is reserved for formal mess dress at the white tie level, so the
pants need to be color that works. So the duty torso is white with orange accents, a navy blue color with a blood strip for infantry rated personnel, gives
them a uniform that works under a paratrooper duster and infantry combat harness, while being suited for working long hours at a desk. Completing
it with shiny boots and beret with flash for squadron they work for, present a very military image, without relaying on no press polyester.

So now we have the Aerospace Crew both Atmospheric rated crew {Class Three Space Physical} and space rated crew {Class Two Space Physical}
and the Atmospheric rated pilots {Class One Space Physical} T38 passing grade, and Space rated pilots {Class One Space Physical} F104 passing grade,
wearing flight suits and bomber jackets. People see bomber jackets as what ever, putting braid on them separated them form the civic side of
things but defeats the purpose of unifying the personnel with the paratrooper jacket. So both my duster and B1 Shearling were expensive back
in 1999, one was about a thousand dollars and the other was about eight hundred fifty dollars of full grain sheep leather. The B1 comes from
the B17 flying fortress gunners hands and bodies being told cold to function in their positions with their uniforms. So I look at the flight suit and
it is one piece to deal with the air going down the trousers of the uniform when sitting. So the flight jacket and the bomber jacket were designed
to work together. The thing is if the duster is just a longer B1 Shearling jacket that is what the personnel likely end up with. So a duster with
set up to wearing an arming belt or garrison belt over the duster then becomes tight at the waist. Then adding in a terry cloth padded lining
instead of polyester fill batting, you have a warm duster instead of leather rain coat that shed direct cold but not the stuff that gets inside
the coat. It could still be worn open over the flight suit and hung over the back of chair on a coat rack, and still works with the ground crew
uniforms with or without the lining. The removable lining allows for flexibility with space suits, or bulky fire or hazmat uniforms which could
button or Velcro in place of the lining. Which then leads to do they wear the flight suits all the time, is it a training thing or simply you wear
the flight suit so that you can don a space suit in a hurry. So the trainer craft are by their very nature cheaper and easier to replace than
the pilots and trainee pilots. So the bomber jackets being worn by personnel training military pilots and crew at the atmospheric rating would
then not be wearing space suits which might be more expensive than flight suits, thus seen as an atmospheric thing. Like a smoking jacket
when you can wear a tuxedo. Since officers pay for their own uniforms both would be options but only at the atmospheric rating level.

So that means that the space rated personnel would be wearing blue flight suits and dusters, while the trainers would still be wearing
sage green flight suits and bomber jackets. That means that it needs to get a little more interesting.

Azure Royal Blue flight suits with Fluorescent Lime Green lining {Space Rated Pilot}
Dark Navy Blue flight suit with Fluorescent Orange lining {Space Rated Crew}
Fluorescent Lime Green flight suit with Fluorescent Orange lining {Space Rated Engineer}

This sets the Space Command and NASA blue flight suits as pilots in bright blue with hazmat green color showing when the
flight suit is unzipped. The crew would be unified with the hazard orange showing based on the level of flight physical.
The darker color of the crew lets a senior leader know in a hurry if they need a space rated pilot instead of asking ten
different people to walk out of the room to ask each one if they have a crew standing ready because something happened
and they need to be some where two hours ago. They can look around and see that the space rated pilot is chatting with
two navy blue types and one hazmat green type and say that is likely a space ready crew. The space suits may end up
like eva suits enameled in a color then glazed with tempered glass. But leaves the focus on the shoulder boards.

This way the duster stands out as you have the common sense to walk away from a jump and the common sense to know
that the bomber jacket is cool looking but it does not work that well with space suits.

So it becomes a more modern paratrooper jacket where jump wings gets you a duster when you complete basic training,
which would require a jump as the final graduation test but a safe jump is a safe jump.

So now with flight suits not have rank on them but having Velcro patches that can be mirrored on the duster only stitched in
place, the expectation of the pants is then part of the uniform when worn with a bomber jacket, but not needed with
only the flight suit, thus an informal setting. So when someone is seeing a patient in a flight suit the rank is put aside
on a coat hook. As the space suits slowly replace the flight suits from advances in design the same concept could apply.

When a pilot in a flight suit or space suit is approaching the tower the same would apply, the duster is in crew foot locker,
thus they have to remember that they don't know what is happening on the ground.

So now we have a duster in natural leather that has a built in shoulder board that buttons in place or is sew in place and
the epaulet loops a metal frame that holds the fabric, rank, and Aiguillettes Military Braid in place, belt loops and or belt
loops and arming belt that can have a baldric go from left shoulder to right waist, when the coat is buttoned shut. Yet
it needs to fill the role of the tail coat or captain's coat.

So looking at military traditions designing the captain's coat to serve as the black tie the way it is, justifies the cost.
With only corporals and sergeants being issued the paratrooper's coat and formal dining in version being the captain's
coat, in bleached white leather like the honor guard, thus with a bright frocked cotton velvet lining it presents an impact
that being a formal dining in even the sergeants would have to pay for that version. At which point the edges can be
chased in gold plated steel or iridium plated steel to match the buttons. The lining can button in on the formal dining
in version and be more about style and the fore fathers dandy arrogance.

So we have the space suits being designed for function, not form, as hazmat suits, with the flight suits being worn much
as they are now in certain colors to indicate training in a specialty.  Second guessing what is needed to survive at high
speed as people make break troughs is bad idea. So the concept should work with the concept of the atmosphere in
side a ship can beat you to death under enough gravities so you suck the atmosphere out and have to live inside the
space suits for hours at a time. So that sets the tone of space suit and duster or combat type clothing.

So graduation do we all wear space suits to graduation of training? Maybe but something more formal is needed.
A flight surgeon can get away with trousers, a bomber jacket and an old army flight jacket but some times you
need more of a spit and polish look.

That then sets the tone for the rest of the uniform.

Pilots:                                     Azure Royal Blue flight suits, with an fluorescent lime green lining (able to pass a class I space physical)
Space Crew:                            Dark Navy Blue flight suit, with an fluorescent orange lining (able to pass a class II space physical)
Space Crew Engineers:             Fluorescent Lime green flight suit, with an fluorescent orange lining (able to pass a class II space physical)
Satellite Defense Personnel:      Orange and White Soccer Jersey and Combat bdu style trousers in Navy Blue (Not able to pass physical)

So then you have to consider the appearance.

Space rated Pilots: Azure Royal Blue flight suits
Atmosphere rated Pilots: OD Green flight suits
Space Crew :Dark Navy Blue flight suit
Space Crew Engineers :Fluorescent Lime green flight suit
Satellite Defense Personnel: Jersey Moral shirt and bdu style trousers

So we look at the duster again

Space rated Pilots:              Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over Azure Royal Blue flight suits
Atmosphere rated Pilots:      Natural Leather Bomber Jacket OD Green flight suits
Atmosphere rated Pilots:      Nylon Bomber Jacket OD Green flight suits
Space rated Crew:               Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over Dark Navy Blue flight suit
Space rated Engineers:        Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over Fluorescent Lime green flight suit
Satellite Defense Personnel: Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over a Jersey Moral shirt and bdu style trousers

So it is close but it's not there. We can add an cravat or flyer scarf to further tie them together as whole, but when
the duster is hanging off their chair it is moral shirt and paint ball paints for all anyone knows. So what the job require?
As a forecaster pens, large pieces of paper, tools like protractors. So instead of ammo pouches on the leg pockets
a thigh pocket that has a pocket protector and holds pens safely. The same re-enforced inseam since it helps save the
wear and tear. Then we think about the pumpkin suits. So the pants can be navy blue nylon and the shirt could be a
white jersey with orange highlights the unit heraldy and person's name over a moral shirt.

Space rated Pilots:              Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over Azure Royal Blue flight suits
Space rated Pilots:              Nylon Bomber Jacket Azure Royal Blue

Space rated Engineers:        Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over Fluorescent Lime green flight suit
Satellite Defense Personnel: Natural Leather Paratrooper Jacket over a Space Command Orange and White Jersey and Nylon BDU style trousers

At which point we have what is basically a sports jersey as a moral shirt that helps keep the sweat down while working
at a desk. With a duster over it and Space Command unit heraldry printed on it like a sports teams it becomes a very cool
looking moral shirt pun intended.

So you then have

So a uniform is what?

It is a set of clothing that goes together that presents cohesion in a common goal.

So some doctors who have not yet completed flight training would be in what?

They would be in whites or surgical scrubs. They might be in those any way at hospital.

So the picture as the tasks are filled in is professional but not something unifying them yet.

The shoulder boards can but sew onto all the uniforms and the bomber jacket can be worn over the flight suit but maybe not
a space suit. There is where we have our answer.

The flight suit might get the doctor to his ship but coming off a long shift he has to change out of the space suit into the
flight suit to wear the jacket while the duster is designed to go over it, much as it was designed to be worn over the jump
jacket. So that brings all the space crew in line by the need for something to wear over the space suits.

So do you get rid of the flight jacket because is not worn with the flight duster? No it would simply end up atmospheric
history that is hung in the closet. The trainers might only be atmospheric rated but still have value to teach to even
astronaut pilots. So much as you replace your atmospheric wings for astronaut wings personel would replace your bomber jacket for a duster.

The bomber jacket would still be valid as informal jacket, but wearing and needing the other jacket could be down check.

Now when personnel complete space rated training they as officer buy and have tailored military issue clothing as per
the regulation guild lines and sergeants are issued standard sizes and it is up to them to pay for tailoring and alternations.

So now we have personnel wearing the bomber jacket are air crew that have no yet gotten used to wearing a duster.

Further we have cohesion in the shoulder boards and the duster naturally groups them when wearing it. When it is draped
over a chair we see the flight suit or sport's jersey and bdu pants. Thus comfort is the image they present. that is good and
it is bad. The good is more work is completed but it creates the air of laisse faire. So that means moral fails when people
feel that no one is reaching for the stars.

So what is the image that needs to be presented to the public. A ship crew out to rescue American Citizens stuck on an
asteroid? So the space suit is something that needs to be function drives form, and let the Captain's Coat drive the image.

That means that we have to look at what the formal versions of the rest of the services use.

undress white means black tie thus less formal black bow tie or cravot
ball dress or mess dress means white tie thus more formal white bow tie or cravot

black tie =

Mess Dress

Which leads to the styles widely diverging based on when recruiting was up. Since all of US Space Command transferred
in from another service most of us have closets full of clothing yet no period of recruiting being up. So we have to make
waves and break new ground.

So we have a bunch of flight suits that are informal wear, a duster with rank shoulder boards, unit heraldry, and military braid,
and moral clothing designed to aid in working long hours but what about standing around an embassy as guest or at a mast
hearing? Slouching and baggy clothing is not going to work.

This creates the imaginary of captains coat in all it's glory as Captain Coat white as snow with metal edging and a less formal
version for undress white and normal duty use. With space crews having to store them in foot lockers in space to prevent accidents.
While having something for Field, Parade and Dinning In use. The black tie undress can then joking refer to how people wear
flight suits. With the formal dining being able to stand up to a white glove inspection. The waistcoat replaces the cummerbund
in the dining in mess dress and parade mess dress. The pressed white shirt is bespoke or custom made shirt much like you
see in a tuxedo. They have various ribbing and fabric that lifts the cravat off the shirt. They have lace cuffs that require cuff links
instead of buttons. The harsh white of the uniform is off set by traditional paisleys, bespoke offset patterns of flowers and mythical
creatures, with waistcoats in cammo patterns for those who have not earned a paisley or order pattern, this takes a cammo pattern
and turns it into something that reminds people that it is still a uniform for all it grander. The cravat in the black tie is a blood red
splash of color at the throat reminds space personnel of the dangers of forgetting a helmet while drawling the accent to the faces
of the personnel.

This image at say a parade in honor of personnel that saved some civic pleasure boat from certain death by informing them of
being too close to the sun or a space crew dropping everything to get enough medical air to a stranded civic crew or foreign
military ship too far out for their own people to get there in time to save them. The image when they work day to day is that
of comfort and ready to drop what they are working on that is longer term projects if an emergency comes up. The risk is
looking to slovenly and having it effect the work attitude. Clutter and lack of neatness only slows down people who can
not find what they are looking for. When I look for projects that I have saved in several places on my hard drives I often waste
time looking for them not because a lack of filing system but never taking the time to organize what gets saved where. So that
I might have military pictures of jets in my library folder because they images I got from public release but I might have ones
from when I was at Sheppard AFB in a legal folder that contains a military folder because one came from the office of public
release of the USAF and the other came from where ever. So there needs to be unifying document that personnel can look to
that says the type of socks allowed is controlled by not being visible but that if a person is so fat that they can not suck in
their gut they have to slouch or get back in better muscle tone because slouching is an effect of failing to achieve military
posture not comfort. Contraposo is relaxing to stand in but people who chose to lift their feet instead of dragging them, find
that they place the balls of the feet and think about but unconsciously which strengthens the body and calves over time and
the older they get the more natural a braced posture is. So the sagging britches present moving fabric but not sagging body.
So the leather over britches from the B17 Flying Fortress days might work to cover over the lack of dignity that an unzipped
flight suit presents or it might simply accent it. Confidant people present a positive appealing image either way.

The last point is that going through military instruction your earn you jump wings, then your pilot or crew rating wings, then
astronaut wings.

So the corporals and sergeants that fail a specialty school would owe the money for the gear that is wasted that has always
been the case, but slowly if they stay in, but when they go from Atmospheric rating to Aerospace rating end up trading in
sage green gear for aerospace royal blue gear. So there is hidden cost there. If the pilots are all officers then they pay the
cost of the gear and get to keep what they earn. I know that I earned my green flight suit but never got to wear one because
by the time I needed to wear on I was in aerospace training and the view point is that having astronauts wear the color they
want takes away from the achievement. I got harassed several times over the color because it was so rare to see the
blue color. Military personnel did not believe it was a real uniform. So I understand the need for personnel to turn in the
sage green and as officers pay for the aerospace blue. I probably should have worn it more often. I found that my B1 Shearling
Jacket the supported both Atmospheric and Aerospace rating worked better. Making people run laps because they are
still trying to figure out what to question is a good thing but if people simply are unaware it tends to make sergeants think
it is a trap. So having flight personnel earn their sage green air crew or pilot's flight suit, then end up in aerospace school
and turn in the flight suit and jacket they just bought weeks before when they got their flight rating, after they fly an F104
and safety land it before it runs out of fuel and walk away from it. Yet that is what it is. If it comes out of the budget then
you can train less pilots and aerospace crew, if it comes out of their pockets it feels like a paying your dues. Yet they
likely end up playing for alteration to their space suits. So having them go through as corporals makes them sergeants
if they can not make it through officer selection, which means that the green is traded for the blue, so making a ceremony
of having the suits burn up in re-entry might be the best way to go about it. Call it a wicker man ceremony to burn ill luck.
The cost of the flight suits in training might end being replaced with space suits that might not even have a atmospheric
equivalent and then the gear is just a mark of progress, at that point not duplicate gear.

In all this thinking of the ground crew what makes them different from air crew or space crew? Ground crew might be the same as air
crew or space crew working on the ground, but it might also be crew that can not pass a class three flight physical. They might have
problems with inner ear that prevents them from serving on a jet or ship. They still can save a pilots life cutting away metal that might
have deformed in landing or travel through atmosphere or space.

This leadership challenge focuses on what a uniform is and how the impact of a few a words causes strife, when the ground crew often
wear nomex fire suits, some are even air crew rated engineers, yet the few individuals who were planning on walking around base with
the zipper down below their underware because they saw a flight doctor who likely should have been wearing pants at that point.
So instead of focusing on the cost moving forward it should be that military gear is issued for a reason not because it is cool looking.
The door to pilot and aerospace crew should be not limited by how many flight suits are in the budget but how many instructors and
air planes, rockets, ships, and so forth we have to use for instruction. A pilot sitting coms seat can take over a helms seat if the
pilot gets sick but if they only person who knows how to fly is sick and the nearest is say a million miles away and the ship is
accelerating the wrong direction, then you have a single point of failure. So the uniform needs to be mommie mommie who is that person
I want to be that person when I grow up. The pilots for better or worse are better at that image.

So recruiting pilots who have what it takes physically, as when you are falling toward the ground and screaming slow down slow down
and your buddies are laughing because they know when they bounce off the ground due to opening the chute at two hundred feet and
your ripcord is some where above you the physics of the world does not care. Your buddies might try to help but most know that the
chutes might blow out and they might not. They might expect the altimeter to pull at a hundred feet but if you slacked on the pushups
that hundred feet might hurt a lot more. So that class one physical pass means something, that halo jump might be necessary as
jump for aerospace crew that need to know that they have to wait so long until the first chute opens then blows out then wait then
open the second two wait for them to blow out them count to ten then open the main chute because they might be falling from
too high up if the main chute deploys and blows out mister ground is not going to care and your buddies are going to be miles
away at that point. So the selection can not be brass ring that starts with politics but with the drill master, drill instructor, and drill
Sargent looking for physical coordination, common sense and initiative. That is leadership challenge all itself this one only deals
with why to start with shoulder boards and work towards a unified approach to space command and really all commands separating
out the field gear based on specialty from the parade and dining in mess dress. yet even I started with how do I get to keep the
ones with common sense by incentivizing cool looking appearance and a goal of working toward flying in space.

So now that we have common sense as a base line

Next leadership challenge

So mercury is a stable orbit and follows the same spot on the sun at what is basically an air speed verse a ground speed, with Neptune being the
furthest stable orbit thus moves the fastest around the sun. Neptunes airspeed verse the ground speed analog would be like a plane called murcry
flying at ten thousand feet is traveling twenty percent further to travel the same distance on the ground. Neptune is the plane at 100 angles and is
having to travel two hundred percent further to travel the same distance on the ground.

So we have the issue of traveling in a straight or mostly straight curved line that squares the circle and figuring out how fast you are traveling relative
to everything around you becomes more complex than triangulation of the planets around you.

So by looking at Pluto's elongated orbit and the elongated orbit of hypothetical planet x, you see how electrons translate to ions. So if we treat the
sun as a proton neutron nucleolus and mercury the first stable eight electron orbit, and measure the shift from mercury's non decaying orbit to each
planets elongating orbit, we can figure out where they would be based on their vee or velocity and angular momentum, knowing that each planet always
faces the same point on the sun over an annul rotation while spinning in place. The pivot point for the centripetal motion is that point and the direct center
of the sun.

Distance of the radius from the center of the sun to the corona of the sun, times two is the distance to mercury. mercury has to travel along an orbit at
a solar vector equal to twice that of the corona point to stay in a stable orbit. Slower it decays and falls into the sun. Faster and the orbit is larger, such
as Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Larger than that and orbit becomes visibly elongated but every orbit from Venus on out is
more elongated than Mar's stable orbit.

Anything not in a stable orbit attempts to lose energy to return to a stable orbit. Energy and atomic structure stabilizes by exchange of energy.
So when planning flights personnel have to remember that while they can predict where the physics model is going to be everything in space
is interacting with a larger environment. So the orbit path of the solar objects can be calculated then something like the aviation model can
model how frictional and environmental effects modify the orbital path much as wind is modified by terrain and hydrothermal forces.

Then someone needs to keep track of all of this much like the ATC keeps track of atmospheric personal keep track of the weather, their
scopes covering their area of responsibilities surroundings. So when a ship is out near Neptune and they are throw off course by a near
miss with solar planetoids, that no one is keeping track of but is moving faster than the rate at which the scopes are covering the local
area around the ship, how does a command get that information out to ships before they have to react or get run over by planet?

A default model is built then potential model is created with data we have knowing that asteroid fields are spherical and their orbit is not
a track but a curved line within an spherical field. As comets pass through through fields and inpart spin and rotation to the astrodes in
side the field they crash into other astroids and cause the existing model to fail due to needing a data update.

Next leadership challenge.

People need a safe place to step back from cultural diversity to find their center at the end of day.

People of culture need to agree they practice the same music, food styles, same politics. So then how do you know who just
wants to be a subversive element and who simply disagrees with others of the same faith?

You start by getting the commanders to decide which is the first gate house built and so forth and then you fly in your troops from
some where else and the base commander has the numbers he or she wrote down on a list and the personnel to be assigned to
gate houses write down their faith, sect, cultural designation, and music they plan to listen to.

The first guy in the guy line is assigned to gatehouse 0001, he steps forward has his name written on clipboard 0001, with the
information that matches was written down ahead of time. The first person from the woman line steps forward is her information
is compared to the first guy's info. If it does not match she is assigned gatehouse 0002. The second guy in the guy line steps
forward and his info is compared to the previous two info sets, by a human not a computer. If it does not match he is assigned
gate house 0003. When you run out of gate houses you consolidate down to halls that are similar occurring to entire group
of people that all match. So say gatehouse ten says Catholic, Franciscan, Irish, and Heavy Metal. Gatehouse eleven says
Catholic, Sanctified Dragons, Irish, and Symphonic Metal. The two groups laugh and say they are all Irish, who listen to metal
music, and you consolidate those to different halls let them keep what ever numbers they prefer the ones assigned to Irish who
listen to metal music and the other gate houses that agree to merge down, then you attempt to assign personnel to the gate
houses no longer needed to separated the cultures that are similar enough to the personnel living there. When you get down
to a handful of personnel that no one wants to live near, you pay those based on cola to live off base and they can deal with
the upsides and downsides of living off base. The gate houses being both nicer and cheaper than what can be found off base,
that one guy that always likes to make a mess in the galley soon finds himself living off base. Better for both sets or personnel.
The married personnel would have quarter houses that would be assigned the same way with the lines going one after the
other. The lines are more for varied purpose, so how ever the numbering is setup there is likely going to be a pattern to it
by using male then female lines that pattern should be broken up. So that inside the gate houses and quarter houses the
personal have a safe place to be themselves without worrying about offending someone's faith or culture.

The military has a problem in the past with attempting to create chapter houses without understanding what a chapter house
is so by sorting out personnel by culture you get a sorta hat type of effect instead of why is his or her place nicer than mine.
A chapter house is fortress that replaces a rectory behind a chapel inside on a monastery. When someone asks why can't
I bring my friends over to the gate house, you point out that a common prank in high school is painting half of the neighboring
teams field in your own school colors, so limiting access to the quad and galley prevents the pouching the halls and the suites.
But it would allow for it to be inspected white glove style and give permanence to the unit heraldry while allowing for more flexibility
in people transferring in and out. What the empty rooms are always reserved for incoming personnel that unit patch means
something more.

Yet now we have personnel from different squadrons and companies mixing after work, breaking the walls of what career you are in,
but who is their commander? They have a unit patch that tells you who to talk to if they are misbehaving but the leadership that
has to be responsible for every action both at work and when they need time to relax, is increasing the risk of burn out.

So say a gate house has ten rooms to side and eight duty floors, the first floor is going to have the CQ office and Armoury,
and the galley is likely on the first floor but does not have to be. People might want a better view with their chow. They may
want to have the entrances off the quad be archways instead of simple doors, the flexibility is limited by the budget constraints
and what can be designed. By sorting and then letting the first sergeants pick their rooms first all the rooms should in theory
be equal. As they settle in their four tenants set the tone of those halls. As personnel fill in the halls from the lowest rank up
to the junior warrants picking rooms based on what they wrote down the halls, with the warrants have the most common
sense. Then we run into what happens when they marry? They are still assigned a suite, where they have to keep a current
uniform, and once a quarter house linked to their gate house has an open section they can be assigned their with their family
living off base on housing costs. Now the commander his office is one corner of the top of the building and his senior warrants
fill in the top floor side suites.

To my left you see how the Blue commander suite of a Bedroom, Bathroom,
Kitchen, study, is boxed in by a commander's day room for informal meetings
and a stratego room.

Opposite the corner is the Red commander suite of a Bedroom, Bathroom,
Kitchen, study, is boxed in by a commander's day room for informal meetings
and a stratego room.

This allows for the current commander to have the incoming commander setup
before the change of command ceremony, and then tend the outgoing can pack
up or have mover pack up with out interfering with the running of the squadron.
By alternating being next to the glassed in atrium or the planning room and
officer's club and galley they can see them as equal.

The red commander's duty office could be on either of the duty corners I simply
picked on at random, the point is to have it mirror the blue commander's duty
office, the communication office, and officer's bridge room. I was trying to figure
out what is the best use for the other corner bedrooms when it occurred to me
that using them as bridge rooms or officer's dens it creates a space for officers
to hang out and make sure the walls are thick enough that the sound does not
interfere with the duty office.

With ten officer's suites, you can have equal rooms for the senior warrants and
the executive officer. This way if the xo is promoted out any one of the seniors
warrants can be promoted without needing to fight over rooms.

With the staff planning room taking up the space that the billiards rooms on
the other floors takes up, the senior warrants and xo, can sit around moping
in the officer's club drinking, or they can go relax with the rest of the military
in civilian clothes.

The ballastrand is uncovered walkway with a ornate fence, this creates an
series of decks that over look the grassy quad area under a green house
glass roof so that the space is not wasted in poor weather. With stairs at the
corners walking around the ballastrand on the first floor and up the stairs to
report in puts a person in the right frame of mind. But clearly someone can
figure out elevators, likely taking up a corner of the staff planning room and
lower billiards room space.

On the lower decs or the lower floors I made a mistake of spacing and ended
up with eight military suites, of a bedroom and bathroom, the design could be
widened easy to add those suites in and add elevators on the front and back
then with really great views.

Each room is supposed to be equal so that the hallway that ends playing
rock music is the same as the hallway playing jazz. Letting the first sergeants
chose first of the non command floors should guarantee that.

Having lounges in the corners with couches and stereo systems allows for
them to be meeting points of two cultures. Seeing as eight floors gives
almost two hundred rooms, but could be expanded to ten military decs one
command dec. The ground floor is slightly different and the ground floor
may end up with no personnel on it to prevent people from being able to
look in the windows. That would need to be hammered out in the actually
design phase. I did not show a basement but one floor down for every
floor up is a structural safety issue so that means ground plus nine floors
is five basement floors for storage, in door firing ranges, parking or what
ever comes up that is needed for personnel housing requirements.

With the commanders having to live in squadron or at least maintain
a uniform there if they live in the quarter houses with their families or off
base as they might want to spend time away from the military just being
normal people to get perspective.

This sets the commander as the gatehouse commander and likely in charge
of different groups of jobs. So when the base gate guards are sleeping in
different gate houses then going to work with different people, you have
different groups mixing at work and at home. The culture can be left at
the arch way of the gate house, and professionalism forward of the archway,
gives that place to blow off steam with out wrecking a bar or restaurant.

So this way when you see the unit patch with a smaller gate house patch
under it, leadership can joke about knowing where people sleep and work
without actually knowing which bunk, thus letting military types know that
their bosses on and off shift is right there on their arm for all to see.

This helps cut down on bathroom issues and sanitary issues, and personnel
conflicts when someone is being harassed there are people who will have
their back due to similar upbringing. Which then results in yacht club teams,
soccer clubs, and so forth.

So the last part of the issue is the families. People have them, to have kids
in the cultural houses is great they can visit but as soon as professionalism
is required due to children present, it is no longer a place to relax but work.

Which is were the quarter house comes in. It takes the families and scales
down the size of the gatehouse to four families that have corners and share
a quad that is roofed in as a safe place for their children to play when they
get home from school.

Those are usually two floors tall and only spilt four ways. They could also
be built to be eight stories tall with two floors to each and built to an octagon
shape with railing on the inside and outside. That allows for sixty four
families. Then you think how much space of yard does a kid need and
does it need the galley hall, billiards room, lounge, and quad?

I think children need enough sand to have a sand box. I think they need
enough grass or sod to practice sports.

Then I think the base would have an away field for gate houses to play
verse each other, and for squadrons to play as a squadron. So how
much space do kids need?

If I stick to two floors tall then I can basically have a shared field of
seventy feet by seventy feet in a square shape, or I can say well
on it's side it is baseball diamond. That needs ten people at least.
If you build a quarter house for every chapter house for married folk,
you then could have the atrium at the center and while it leaves only
twenty five deep a room it the room would be fifty feet long, and if
you set it so that it is two floors tall like building off base, then you
could build it eight stories tall and then you have two sections per
quarter with two floors each. So eight families kids sharing 70 square
feet. Enough for two baseball teams but maybe too many sharing
their sand boxes. So three floors times two families times two families
means four families potentially sharing 70 square feet. Multiple by four
quads you get sixteen families. They would smell each other's cooking
and have to be able to say they all have no problem with each other's
holiday decorations, so the Christmas tree could be a Christmas tree.

Sixteen families means eight kids likely able to play baseball which
could also function as a sand box. Or it could all be grass or sod.
The point is that families could agree, and the whole quarter house
would be set up off the cultural gatehouses. So six floors up maybe
a atrium floor on the ground floor with elevators up to each floor off
the atrium floor and the base ball fields in each grassy section with
green house glass over the open part of the atrium and balastrads with
climbing roses or ivy or lilies to bring out the colonial charm. Then since
it is seven floors tall four basements for storing food and for underground
parking.

With the concept of the gate house being built around a track and field track and the quarter houses built around the baseball diamond, there is still flexibility in that
while regualation fields might have to be flat and open for the spectators, the possibly is that the quad could be squared off two inch tall sod, or it could be taped out
to allow for paint ball games, soccer / football / rugby, thought small saplings knowing they grow taller and wider making it more like a hedge maze or outdoors paint
ball course. Either way the idea is give options while finding a way to build both cheaper - industrial construction of measure four times in a computer then build it once
to last hopefully as long as some of the current ones have lasted. As I look toward the future the gate houses and quarter houses could also be designed for use on
the moon as industrial sky scrappers covered in granite cladding. If it tight enough it is both air tight and insulating. So the designs can function as pilot programs to
figure the kind of space we need as we cover the next gold rush in the sky.

That brings me to the next leadership challenge before I take time off for thanksgiving.

So the propulsion system right now is too expensive for every race fan to build one, so far. Yet given time, someone is going to come back from space with gold, and corundum
and other rare earths. Normally people that go oh another moon rock are going to say a cargo bay the size of three buses of gold. So what do I have to do to build me one of
those yachts? Five hundred thousand in materials, ya I think I got something cheaper in the back forty. Then launching goddard style rockets into space and getting stuck about
a thousand miles out with no controls and no acceleration. So then who goes to get them and who pays for it?

Me I figure call it training for the pilots flying the banshee's maybe get them used to different propulsion systems swapped in or out. Thing is half of those rockets heading out
into the wild blue yonder, they aint going to be too happy and maybe be a little short on breathable air. I designed the banshee for four times the flight out to mars and back
that gets you barely to the main asteroid belt between mars and Jupiter and nothing to breathe out there. Sure the tanks are designed to sit in ice and melting that gets you
a bit more fuel and the wings are laid out with more tanks that can go further but that is at one hundred seventeen feet long and far more thrust to weight ratio. You standard
rocket is going to have trouble getting to the moon, let along out to the main asteroid belt and have enough air to sit on a big rock while mining smaller ones. So that is going
to require more thought as the military banshee's are seen as race cars much like the blue angles and thunderbirds.

We can help but the usa can not be the only peace keepers in the main asteroid belt it is too vast and large.

Rank and File level (Sergeants, Corporals and Trainees)
  Rank of Sargent:: T3  (Sergeants)
Sergeants are the experienced personal at doing a job without formal education. Chevrons represent military training schools, and rockers represent
grounding or comprehension. All sergeants have a primary Military Operational Specialty and alternate Military Operational Specialty based on training
they have been graded with a passing grade by a training officer. They are expected to know military curtsy and protocol. The grade of Sargent is selected
by class in officer selection school and these are the personnel who are better at turning a wrench than explaining how threads hold the bolt to the washer.
They can be required to go above and beyond but are only expected to do what they can. They are expected to have served two years in the military before
being award this rank, and in their second re-enlistment or later. Basically if I can hand a troop a technical order of words and they can complete the
task with no further input they are a sergeant or higher. If they don't have a technical order and can get the task completed they are an officer. An example
would a tank comes into a shop and there is no shop manual for that tank, a sergeant goes and finds and officer while an officer figures out something to
attempt to get it back working again.

    Sargent =  Limited in scope to following lawful orders. {Sargent} {Sarge} {Gunny} {First Shirt} {Master Sargent} {Technical Sargent} {Tech Sargent}
     RankGrade
FSE9 -  The First Sargent (Sir or Ma'am or First Shirt or First Sargent or Sargent)
symbolized by a four gold chevrons connected to four rockers with the first sergeants device on one collar side and MOS on the other collar,
yellow braid and optional sash in aurum color for medals.
epaulettes = Empty, Four gold Chevrons, Empty, Four Rockers with first sergeants device, Military Color Fabric
They report directly to the platoon commander and there is only one per platoon. Technically they are still Master Sergeants but have extra devices
on their rank so that enlisted know when a Lieutenant Commander is not around who to ask for clarity on orders.

MSE8 -  Master Sargent (Sir or Ma'am or Master Sargent or Sargent)
symbolized by a four gold chevrons connected to four rockers on one collar side and MOS on the other collar,
yellow braid and optional sash in aurum color for medals.
epaulettes = Empty, Four gold Chevrons, Empty, Four Gold Rockers, Military Color Fabric
This is high as personnel can go that can be earned without formal education. After twenty years of enlisted service they have to elect to get
formal training or retire as a veteran and be paid a stimped on the off chance they might be called back to duty to train green troops.
This is special grade for enlisted leadership troops, as they carry a rating in their leadership, combat, technical and military specialties.
They do not have to go through recruiting command to resume active service.

GSE7 -  Gunny Sargent (Sir or Ma'am or Gunny Sargent or Gunny)
symbolized by a four gold chevrons connected to three rockers on one collar side and MOS on the other collar,
blue braid and optional sash in aurum color for medals.
epaulettes = Empty, Four gold Chevrons, Empty, Three Gold Rockers, Military Color Fabric
This is special grade for enlisted gunnery troops, as they carry a rating in their combat, technical and military specialties. They retire at a military age
of forty, due to the higher than normal stress being trained to neutralize people. If they elect to take a period of college training their military age stops
until they resume the stress of being on call to neutralize threats. They do not have to go through recruiting command to resume active service.

TSE6 -  Technical Sargent (Sir or Ma'am or Technical Sargent or Tech Sargent or Sargent)
symbolized by a three gold chevrons connected to three rockers on one collar side and MOS on the other collar,
green braid and optional sash in aurum color for medals.
epaulettes = Empty, Three gold Chevrons, Empty, Three Gold Rockers, Military Color Fabric
This is special grade for enlisted technical troops, as they carry a rating in their technical and military specialties. They retire at a military age of fifty,
due to the higher demand for non combat training. If they elect to take a period of college training their military age stops until they resume the stress
of being on call 24/7 365 days a year. They do not have to go through recruiting command to resume active service. They are paid based on
their technical rating on top of their military pay. Their technical rating is a government service rating.

SSE5 -  Staff Sargent (Sir or Ma'am or Staff Sargent or Sargent)
symbolized by a three gold chevrons connected to two rockers on one collar side and MOS on the other collar,
green braid and optional sash in aurum color for medals.
epaulettes = Empty, Three gold Chevrons, Empty, Two Gold Rockers, Military Color Fabric
This is special grade for enlisted staff troops, as they carry a rating in their military specialties. They retire at a military age of fifty, due to
the higher demand for non combat training. If they elect to take a period of college training their military age stops until they resume the stress
of being on call 24/7 365 days a year. They do not have to go through recruiting command to resume active service. They are paid based on
their specialties rating on top of their military pay.

SGE4 -  Sargent (Sir or Ma'am or Sargent or Sergeant or Sarge)
symbolized by a two gold chevrons connected to two rockers on one collar side and MOS on the other collar,
green braid and optional sash in aurum color for medals.
epaulettes = Empty, Two gold Chevrons, Empty, Two Gold Rockers, Military Color Fabric
This is special grade for enlisted troops, as they carry a rating in their military specialties.
To make the base grade of sergeant you have to pass officer selection school with the
grade of sergeant. They are not officers as they due not have the greater technical and leadership understanding. Once you graduate officer
selection school you are assigned to the reserves when not on active duty.
